Jamaica

Overview

Jamaica is the island of happy days, vivid nights and dreams that come true. Located right in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, it offers visitors of all age-groups a way to ‘get all right’. Showcasing a multitude of activities, from chilling on one of its stunning golden-sand beaches, to hiking the misty Blue Mountain tops or horse riding, Jamaica promises its visitors memorable days and nights.

Head to Doctor’s Cave Beach in Montego Bay or Seven Mile Beach in Negril and indulge in the island’s white sands and crystal clear waters, while sipping frozen cocktails. If you’re after a bit of adventure, an array of rivers, waterfalls and plantations are calling out for you to explore Jamaica’s natural beauty.

For a taste of Jamaican art and creativity, Harmony Hall Gallery in Ocho Rios and the National Gallery of Jamaica in Kingston, are inviting visitors to experience Jamaica’s distinctive modern and contemporary art scene, featuring diverse work from Jamaican and Caribbean artists.

When it comes to fun and entertainment, world-famous festivals take place throughout the year, with Bob Marley Week and Little Ochi Seafood Carnival adding a variety of choice to the island’s entertainment scene. Jamaica’s unique personality derives from its reggae vibes, heart-warming smiles and jerk-chicken tastes.

Jamaica is a force making the world feel all right through its rhythm and spirit – the perfect place to ‘Get All Right’

Itinerary

My perfect itinerary to ‘Get All Right’ in Jamaica starts with British Airways Club World into Kingston. Then an afternoon checking out the capital’s hippest highlights – Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records sports bar and Bob Marley Museum. Jamaica’s not just about beaches so I head into the lush interior of the island to visit the spectacular cascading waters of Reach Falls – an eco-attraction complete with underwater cave, then Mystic Mountain to take a trip through the rainforest before marvelling at the view of glorious Ocho Rios from 700 feet up. And I wouldn’t miss the exhilarating Rainforest Sky-explorer which sees you rise above the trees to the top of the mountain, zip line through the treetops, and travel through the forest on the high-tech sleds.
